As an Account Manager, you will oversee our agency-client relationships, devise Email and SMS marketing strategies to suit each client’s needs, and lead every part of our team – from the copywriters to the technical experts – to ensure we hit our deadlines and deliver excellent results. This is NOT an entry-level role. Success necessitates amazing people skills, digital marketing chops, and superior organizational and communication skills. To succeed, you should thoroughly understand email marketing and the "customer lifecycle journey" and have substantial experience with Klaviyo or similar CRMs.

Job Responsibilities

  • You'll attend client-facing meetings and take notes on calls
  • You'll communicate with clients for approvals and onboarding tasks in ClickUp
  • You'll request missing assets and approvals (from the clients) for the creative team
  • You'll organize your team's workflow across multiple accounts
  • You'll build and deploy email campaigns and automated flows that meet business and marketing objectives
  • You'll storyboard email marketing campaigns & automated flows to determine a strategy for calls-to-action offers, and messaging
  • You'll manage the email deployment workflow and calendar, including management/collection of creative and copy
  • You'll delegate and create action items for both your team AND your clients
  • You'll ensure deadlines are met by the team while considering their bandwidth
  • You'll maintain a strong relationship between clients and teammates
  • You'll oversee day-to-day email campaign execution, sometimes within tight deadlines, including set-up, segmentation, scheduling, testing, tagging, deployment, and reporting/analytics
  • You'll take charge of regular reporting on multiple accounts
  • You'll create and organize employee SOPs to increase team efficiency
  • You'll be vocal about your bandwidth, insight, thoughts, opinions, dreams, and more because you want to grow in your role, reach your optimal potential, and comfortably (frazzle-free!) bring only your best to the table
  • You'll be responsive via Slack for team collaboration to crush the day-to-day!

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience with Klaviyo – Driving results for our clients is the most important thing we do. You must have experience creating email marketing strategies and be comfortable working in Klaviyo. You should love testing and using data to develop your strategy.
  • Fluent in English with a high EQ – Since you will be having weekly calls with American clients, you should be fluent in English. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also crucial. FT/PT US/Canada/Central and South America only.
  • Next-level time management skills—You’ll be expected to manage your own work schedule and juggle the schedules of team members operating across many different time zones. Working early EST hours may be required.
  • Excellent communication skills – Account Managers are great notetakers and comfortable conversationalists who intuitively understand how to best communicate with clients. Whether you’re writing a quick email or hopping on an hour-long call, you should be able to get your point across quickly and clearly. You’ll need time management skills to hit deadlines and deliver excellent results.
  • 2+ years experience in Account Management (or comparable consultancy experience)
  • Experience in and an obsession with marketing and branding – you love working with consumer brands and building relationships with customers
  • A strategic mind – you love finding new ways to achieve our goals and thinking through new projects.
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce marketing and tactics.
