Deliverability Specialist
Mineral.io is seeking a skilled Email Deliverability Specialist for a contract position. As an Email Deliverability Specialist at Mineral.io, you will be instrumental in optimizing our email delivery processes. You will monitor key metrics, resolve deliverability issues, and ensure a high sender reputation for each client on our roster. Your role requires availability via Slack during regular hours (9 am - 5 pm EST) and proficiency with tools and technologies such as Bimi, Glock Apps, Postmaster Tools, and Mail-Tester.com. You will work closely with Account Managers to guide them through deliverability challenges, ensuring that best practices inform strategic decisions. A thorough understanding of eCommerce, Shopify, and Klaviyo is essential.
- Your location is in the Western Hemisphere and availability during our specified working hours are essential to our team's operations.
- You are an expert in the technicalities of email and SMS deliverability
- You are well versed in Klaviyo and confident in creating exlusionary segments when needed to omit/include certain ESPs or groups of subscribers experiencing deliverability problems.
- You have the ability to advise our client partners and management team how to optimize deliverability effectively.
This contract position is for someone residing in the South, Central, or North America only.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize email deliverability metrics and sender reputation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deliverability issues.
- Manage feedback loops, suppression lists, and spam complaint handling.
- Conduct audits of email practices and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize email content and designs for deliverability.
- Stay updated on best practices, industry trends, and compliance regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
- Consult with Account Managers to guide them through deliverability issues and ensure optimal inbox placement.
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in email deliverability and email marketing.
- Strong understanding of email protocols (SMTP, DKIM, SPF, DMARC).
- Proficiency with Bimi, Glock Apps, Postmaster Tools, Mail-Tester.com, and Klaviyo.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret deliverability data and metrics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Thorough understanding of eCommerce, Shopify, Klaviyo and Sendlane.
- Knowledge of email compliance regulations and best practices.
